Vitamin c is important in supporting the immune system to fight infections. In addition, Lysin (an amino-acid) has been shown to have a promising effect in certain viral infections such as HSV (Herpes Simplex virus) by depriving the virus from Arginine which is another amino acid vital for the viral multiplication.
